Letter: Centrist position will be effective

The Columbian
Published: May 18, 2012, 5:00pm

I was delighted to learn that Tim Probst is running for the Washington state Senate. We could not have a more honest and effective person representing the 17th Legislative District. A hard-working centrist, Probst represents the people in the district and not a political partly. He rarely misses a vote and is passionate about improving the economy and the education of our kids.

Incumbent Sen. Don Benton, R-Vancouver, has often been missing in action, skipping a whopping 310 votes (January 2008 to present).

The choice is clear — I trust Tim Probst.
