Vancouver police responded Tuesday to a report that two masked men tied up a 27-year-old woman and stole some plants from a medical marijuana garden at a residence in the 15700 block of Northeast Sixth Circle.

The report was made at 3:56 p.m., about 30 minutes after the 3:20 p.m. incident; the delay presumably was the time in which the woman freed herself, said Vancouver police Sgt. Mike Schylack.

One of the robbers had a handgun, Schylack said. No one was injured, he said.

Vancouver police Sgt. Mike Davis said a preliminary investigation indicated that the victim knows the robbers.

A police dog was called to the scene but was not needed, Schylack said.

Police did not yet have a description of the suspects. Detectives were investigating.
