NEW YORK (AP) — Three wrestlers will compete for the final spot on the U.S. Olympic men’s freestyle team during an event in Times Square next month.

The six Americans who have already qualified for the London Games will take on top Russian wrestlers during the outdoor dual meet June 7.

The United States had not yet qualified for London at 132 pounds before last month’s Olympic trials. On April 27, Shawn Bunch placed third in the World Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in China, which earned the Americans a berth in the weight class.

USA Wrestling said Wednesday that under Olympic trials procedures, Bunch, Reece Humphrey and Coleman Scott will take part in a wrestle-off. The winner of a match between Humphrey and Scott will face Bunch in a best-of-three championship series.
