Kaiser Permanente Northwest is hosting a résumé writing workshop and career fair for military veterans.

The résumé writing workshop is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Participants must pre-register at craig.j.snitker@us.army.mil or 503-584-2393.

The career fair is from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Both events will take place at the Kaiser Permanente Town Hall, 3704 N. Interstate Ave. in Portland.

During the career fair, veterans will have the opportunity to talk with hiring managers and organizational leaders. Representatives from various labor unions and Kaiser departments — including pharmacy, inpatient nursing, ambulatory nursing, environmental services and talent acquisition — will also be on hand.

Kaiser currently has more than 1,200 open positions and as many as 600 future positions at its new Westside Medical Center campus in Hillsboro, Ore.
