Letter: Where are the high-wage jobs?

The Columbian
Published: November 14, 2012, 4:00pm

Boeing’s defense division announces huge layoffs, how could that be? Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., told us in all those commercials how she saved defense jobs by getting the tanker contract for Boeing, and now this.

Of course the announcement came after the election and the senator has returned to her Washington, D.C., home, most likely not to be seen or heard from for six more years.

What chumps we are.
