Queen’splatekitten wins Belmont feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Queen’splatekitten, the 2-1 favorite, rallied past the pacesetting Bad Debt for a 2 3/4-length victory Thursday in the $79,000 allowance feature on the turf at Belmont Park.

Javier Castellano was aboard for trainer Todd Pletcher as the 4-year-old ended a seven-race losing streak with his fourth victory in 14 starts. The time was 1:35.98 for the mile.

Queen’splatekitten paid $6.50, $3.70 and $2.90. Bad Debt returned $7 and $4.40, and Grand Rapport paid $3.90 to show.
