TORONTO (AP) — Joshua Tree won the $1.5 million Pattison Canadian International on Sunday at Woodbine to become only the third two-winner in race history.
The Irish-bred Joshua Tree also gave jockey Frankie Dettori his record-tying third victory in the race.
Robert Watson rode winners in 1942-44.
Joshua Tree ran 1 1/2 miles on the turf course in 2:30.89 to edge Dandino.
In other Grade 1 turf races, Irish-bred Siyouma won the E.P. Taylor and Next Question took the $500,000 Nearctic.
