Letter: Is the president loose with facts?

After months of stagnant job growth, the Labor Department comes out with a surprising statistic. All of a sudden, the national unemployment rate has dropped from 8.1 to 7.8 percent a few weeks before the election. These figures were reported by Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis, who was nominated for this position on Jan. 20, 2009. Yes, folks she is a Democrat. Is President Obama so desperate after his loss on the first debate that he has to start manipulating the numbers to get votes? Oh, I almost forgot, he is from Chicago.
