Camas — Camas Friends Church celebrated its 75th anniversary by hosting a neighborhood street fair in its parking lot on Oct. 6. Between 150 and 175 long-time Friends (Quakers), new friends and neighbors attended. Popular attractions included live music and picnic dinners served by the Mighty Bowl and Foody Blues Barbecue food carts. Displays highlighted the church’s involvement in community outreach programs including Laundry Love, which provides quarters and laundry detergent at a Washougal laundromat every other Thursday, and the Winter Hospitality Overflow homeless shelter program.
