Letter: Both parties endorse Wyman

The Columbian
Published: October 26, 2012, 5:00pm

Kim Wyman, the current Thurston County Auditor, is the only candidate for Secretary of State with experience administering elections. In my position as Clark County Auditor I have worked closely with Wyman for more than 13 years and know that her decisions will be based exclusively on what is in the best interests of Washington citizens, not the political parties or candidates.

Wyman is committed to ensuring that every eligible person in our state is registered to vote, receives a ballot and that returned ballots are counted accurately. Her judgment, character and thoughtful, nonpartisan leadership are why 66 current and former county auditors, Democrat and Republican alike, endorse her.
