Sunny Desert wins Belmont’s Judy Soda Stakes

NEW YORK (AP) — Sunny Desert stretched her winning streak to four with a 614 length romp on Friday in the $85,000 Judy Soda Stakes for New York bred 3-year-old fillies at Belmont Park.

Shaking off a bump at the break, Sunny Desert and jockey Ramon Dominguez set all the fractions in the one mile race. The time was 1:35.75 on the fast track.

Trained by John Parisella, the 4-5 favorite, paid $3.90, $2.70 and $2.10. I Bet Toni Knows rallied for second, returning $3.80 and $3.40. Shesabronxbomber paid $3.30 to show.
