Northfield — Earlier this year, there was some discussion of the tiny east-side Northfield Neighborhood Association absorbing chunks of the huge-but-largely-inactive Fisher’s Landing East Neighborhood Association, which borders Northfield on three sides. According to the latest Northfield newsletter, Fisher’s Landing East is planning to reactivate and has set an organizational meeting for 6:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at Fire Station 9, 17408 S.E. 15th St. That makes any discussion of boundary changes premature, according to Northfield director Esther Schrader.
