An early-morning fire Wednesday destroyed a mobile home in Amboy, said Fire District 10 Chief Gordon Brooks.
The fire was reported at 12120 N.E. 339th St. around 1:40 a.m., according to emergency dispatch logs.
Deputy Fire Marshal Curtis Evanson said he will need to do more testing to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
There was “nothing sinister involved,” he said.
The property is owned by Janice and Linwood Hester.
