NEW YORK (AP) — Burban, the even-money favorite, scored a 112 length victory on Thursday in the $71,250 Break Through Stakes for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.
The lightly raced 5-year-old trained by Eddie Kenneally improved to 4 for 6. Jose Lezcano was aboard for the six furlongs in 1:11.48.
Burban paid $4.20 and $2.20. Singlet, $2.10, and Promise Me a Cat, $2.20, finished in a dead heat for second. There was no show wagering.
D’princess completed the four-horse field.
