North Image’s neighborhood association at ‘crossroad’

North Image — Because of a lack of involvement, the North Image Neighborhood Association is at a “crossroad,” according to its April newsletter. Last May, the association was nearing inactive status because residents were expressing little interest and not attending meetings. But that tide soon changed, and involvement went back up. However, interest seemed to quickly fall again, according to the newsletter. Most meetings since then have had only a few people visit, with some solely attended by Chairwoman Jean Blackburn. Blackburn is asking residents to show support and come to the association’s Thursday meeting, held 7 p.m. at Creekside Estates Recreation Center, 5101 N.E. 121st Ave.
