CONCORD, N.C. (AP) — Persistent rain forced NHRA officials to postpone qualifying Friday in the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway.

One qualifying session was completed in Pro Stock Motorcycle, and 10 cars were able to make runs in Pro Stock before rain washed out the rest of the session.

In Pro Stock Motorcycle, John Hall took the No. 1 spot with a time of 6.930 seconds on Matt Smith Racing’s Buell. In Pro Stock, Shane Gray was quickest of the 10 cars that ran.
