Scouts build garden beds for Earth Day

Fisher-Mill Plain — On April 13, Chad Richards, a member of Boy Scout Troop 309, led scouts, family, friends and community volunteers in building 16 raised garden beds for community use at Pacific Community Park, 1515 N.E. 164th St. The project took place as part of an Earth Day celebration sponsored by Clark County Public Works and Clark County Environmental Services. Chad researched and organized the entire undertaking, which is part of his Boy Scout Eagle project.
