SEATTLE — A manager is accused of raping a custodian in his office at Microsoft in Redmond.

King County prosecutors say 36-year-old Vineet Kumar Srivastava raped the 32-year-old woman the night of July 22 after motioning her into his office.

KIRO reports he was arrested July 26 on the Microsoft campus on a rape charge. He spent a night in jail before he posted bond on a $75,000 bail. He’ll be arraigned later this month.

He told police the woman demanded to have sex with him. He no longer works for Microsoft.
