Rain forces postponement of LLWS game

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (AP) — The Little League World Series game between Northwest champion Sammamish, Wash., and New England champion Westport, Conn., has been rescheduled for Friday.

Little League officials made the ruling Thursday night after a thunderstorm halted play for more than an hour in the game between Mexico and Panama for a berth in the international final on Saturday against Japan.
