Golf tourney brings in $35,000

Cascade Park — JD Fulwiler & Company Insurance, with offices in Vancouver and Portland, held its second annual charity golf tournament on July 29 at Royal Oaks Country Club. More than $35,000 was raised for five local nonprofits that aim to better the lives of children; two of them, the YWCA Clark County and the Vancouver Police Activities League, are based here in Vancouver.
