Boys basketball: Prairie 45, Skyview 38

Ronnie McPherson scored a basket with under two minutes left to put the Falcons up by three, and Prairie made enough free throws from there to secure the win at Skyview.

James Phillips led the way with 23 points for the Falcons and Cairo Jackson added 11 points.

Marcus Lord scored 18 points for Skyview. The Storm was without Ben Spies, a returning starter who is nursing a sore ankle but expected back soon according to Skyview coach Matt Gruhler.

Both teams struggled at the free-throw line, making a combined 15 of 38 foul shots.
