College Compass Club gets $5,000 gift

Vancouver Heights — A college readiness after-school program aimed at Vancouver middle schoolers received $5,000 from OnPoint Community Credit Union. OnPoint President Robert Stuart presented the money Nov. 18 at McLoughlin Middle School where students shared stories about how the College Compass Club helped them succeed academically. The program, known also as C3, is a collaboration between Vancouver Public Schools and Educational Service District 112.
