Nominees for high school winter sports athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Dec. 7. Voting will conclude at 8 p.m. Thursday with results published in Friday’s Columbian.

WYLICIA FALEY, BATLE GROUND BOWLING: Faley bowled three 200 games in two matches last week including a 245 game.

ROBERT FRANKS, EVERGREEN BOYS BASKETBALL: Franks had 28 points and 12 rebounds against Columbia River and added another 20 against Mountain View.

DALLAS GOODPASTER, PRAIRIE WRESTLING: The sophomore won the 285-pound division in the John Birbeck Invitational in Lacey.

NICOLE MOSS, HERITAGE GYMNASTICS: Moss won the beam and floor to post a win in the overall with a score of 34.05 in a win over Skyview.

KATIE WHITTEN, LA CENTER GIRLS BASKETBALL: Whitten had 26 points, 12 steals and four assists in a win over Stevenson and 17 points, eight steals and five assists in a win over King’s Way Christian.
