Unpaid, 10-week internships in the Vancouver and Washington, D.C., offices of U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler are available for college students or recent college graduates.

Qualified candidates should be motivated, creative, computer-savvy and good communicators, Herrera Beutler, R-Camas, said in a news release. Intern duties include taking constituent phone calls, attending congressional briefings, leading U.S. Capitol tours and other administrative tasks. Herrera Beutler’s office will give priority to applicants from the Pacific Northwest.

To apply, submit a cover letter, résumé and two letters of recommendation to internship coordinator Christina Perez at christina.perez@mail.house.gov. For more information, call Perez at 202-225-3536.
