CONWAY, S.C. (AP) — Badou Diagne scored a career-high 26 points to lead seven players in double figures as Coastal Carolina routed Reinhardt 118-82 on Saturday night.

Warren Gillis contributed 21 points, Elijah Wilson added 16, Michel Enanga had 14, Josh Cameron had 12 and Colton Ray-St. Cyr had 10 for the Chanticleers, who shot 67.7 percent from the field. El Hadji Ndieguene pulled in 12 of Coastal Carolina’s 46 rebounds.

The Chanticleers (5-5) never trailed, taking control with an 11-2 run midway through the first half and carrying a 53-44 advantage into the break.

Reinhardt, an NAIA team, opened the second half with a 3-pointer by Josh Cooper that trimmed the gap to six, the closest the Eagles would get before the Chanticleers pulled away.

Quinton Wood led Reinhardt with a game-high 36 points.

The final score was the third-highest in Coastal Carolina’s history.
