Nominees for high school winter sports athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Dec. 14. Voting will conclude at 8 p.m. Thursday with results published in Friday’s Columbian.

KASEY CALWELL, CAMAS BOYS SWIMMING: Calwell won the 100 backstroke in 4A state-qualifying time of 55.45 seconds to help Camas win the Sprint Pentathlon at Mark Morris.

MADISON CROCKETT, SKYVIEW BOWLING: Crockett bowled a 277 game in a very competitive match against Kelso.

TYLER DADY, BATTLE GROUND WRESTLING: Dady beat James Niemela of Columbia River to capture the 285-pound division title at the Centralia Tiger Classic, helping Battle Ground place second.

TRE EISENHUT, FORT VANCOUVER BOYS BASKETBALL: Eisenhunt averaged 20 points a game last week, as the Trappers won two out of three games.

JAMIE NOLTA, UNION GYMNASTICS: Nolta Union won the bars, beam and floor exercise on her way to winning the all-around (36.1) in a five-team meet at Naydenov.
