NEW YORK (AP) — P J’s Superego raced to a front-running victory Thursday in the $70,300 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.
The 3-year-old trained by Joe Orseno and ridden by apprentice Manuel Franco beat Masasi by 134 lengths for her second win in eight starts. The time was 1:11.14 for six furlongs on the track rated good.
P J’s Superego paid $6.50 and $3, and Masasi returned $2.20.
Love Contract finished third.
There was no show wagering on the four-horse field.
