Vancouver police are asking the public to assist them in identifying three women who allegedly stole several bottles of alcohol from Safeway last week.

Shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, officers went to the grocery store at 3707 Main St. for a reported theft. A store employee saw three women steal the alcohol and flee in a white 1998 Oldsmobile with Oregon plates CL21005.

Surveillance footage captured images of the suspects. The three suspects were described as women, 20 to 30 years of age. One was about 5 foot 4 inches tall and 170 pounds, had black hair, and was wearing a black coat, light-colored pants and black boots at the time of the theft; another was about 5 foot 5 inches tall and 150 pounds, had black hair, was wearing a red top with black jeans and was carrying a black purse; the third suspect was about 5 foot 7 inches tall and 140 pounds, with black hair under a hat, wearing a black coat, multi-colored pants, brown boots and a brown and black purse.

Anyone with information about this case or these suspects is asked to contact Vancouver police Officer Holly Musser at holly.musser@cityofvancouver.us.
