Jets sign 3 players from Arena Football

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — The New York Jets have signed defensive back Eric Crocker, defensive tackle Junior Aumavae and wide receiver Thomas Mayo.

Crocker played in Arena Football last year for San Antonio. He played college ball at Arkansas-Monticello.

Aumavae attended Minnesota State (Mankato) and entered the NFL as a free agent with Dallas last April. He was cut in training camp and also played in the Arena League.

Mayo, of California (Pa.), was an undrafted free agent with the Oakland Raiders last year who also was released in training camp before landing with the Chicago Rush of the AFL during the 2012 season.
