Girls basketball: Skyview 53, Battle Ground 42

A 19-9 second quarter sparked Skyview to a 53-42 victory in a Class 4A Greater St. Helens League game Monday at Battle Ground.

Skyview led 29-20 at halftime, and pushed its advantage to 16 points by the end of the third quarter. Gen Lo hit a pair of 3-pointers during the decisive second quarter.

Stephanie McDonagh scored 15 points to lead Skyview, Aubrey Ward-El adde 14 and Lo finished with 10.

For Battle Ground, Jossilyn Blackman had 13 points and 10 rebounds and Malory Olson had 12 points.
