RIDGEFIELD — The commissioners of Clark County Fire & Rescue have canceled plans to put an emergency medical service levy on the November ballot.

At Wednesday’s board meeting, the commissioners announced that an increase in property values and a resulting increase in revenues meant that a levy was not warranted at this time.

The commissioners had been waiting for updated revenue projections from the county assessor’s office.

The expected 8.9 percent increase in property values will begin to help offset the $5.4 million in revenue reductions that Clark County Fire & Rescue had experienced over the past three years, Chairman Michael Lambrecht said in a statement.
