STUTTGART, Germany (AP) — Fifth-seeded Fabio Fognini of Italy beat Roberto Bautista Agut of Spain 6-1, 6-3 on Saturday to reach the final of the ATP Mercedes Cup.
Fognini is one win away from the first title of his career. He advanced to his third final and the first this season.
Fognini will play either Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany or Victor Hanescu of Romania.
