Amboy forest products firm moves to Port of Kalama

Christiansen Enterprises LLC, a provider of dry kilns, parts and services for the forest products industry, has relocated its operations from Amboy to the Port of Kalama.

Christiansen moved into a 10,500-square-foot facility at the port on June 1 to accommodate its growth. The company has three employees assigned to the port site, and others who work in the field, according to a Port of Kalama spokeswoman.

Christiansen Enterprises provides kilns, parts and comprehensive on-site services for forest products companies including Weyerhaeuser, Hampton Forest Products, Georgia Pacific, and WKO. It also sells its products to most Pacific Northwest lumber mills.
