Washougal — The Port of Camas-Washougal will convene the first of two open houses on a plan to revitalize waterfront property from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, at the port’s administrative building, 24 S. A St. Refreshments will be available.

The second open house is slated for Tuesday, Sept. 24. A conceptual graphic of a proposed waterfront trail design will be on display at both open houses.

The plan to rejuvenate waterfront property encompasses three elements: recreational facilities, environmental cleanup, and trail design and concepts.

The port is leading the public outreach portion of the project which includes an online survey — www.surveymonkey.com/s/VG686XJ — to gather citizen input. The survey also will be available at each open house.
