Romansh wins Curlin Stakes at Saratoga

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) — Romansh won the $100,000 Curlin Stakes for 3-year-olds Friday at Saratoga Race Course after entry mate Transparent was disqualified to fifth place for interference on the stretch turn.

Transparent finished two lengths ahead of Romansh, running 1 1/8 miles in 1:49.60. Romansh paid $4.80, $2.80 and $2.10, Bad Hombre returned $4.10 and $2.80, and Edge of Reality paid $2.90 to show.

Romansh earned $60,000 for Darley Stable.
