CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) — Corey Keller drove in the go-ahead run with a ninth-inning double, and Florida Atlantic beat Towson 6-5 on Sunday in an elimination game at the Chapel Hill Regional.

Keller had three hits and drove in three runs for the second-seeded Owls (41-21). Tyler Rocklein, Geoff Jimenez and Mitch Morales each had two hits.

Brendan Butler drove in three runs for the third-seeded Tigers (30-30), who got the tying run on in the bottom of the ninth. But Dominic Fratantuono struck out on a check swing to end Towson’s season.

Reliever Hugh Adams (3-0) earned the win, allowing one hit in two scoreless innings. Towson reliever Nik Nowottnick (4-4) took the loss by allowing one hit and one run in three innings. Towson took the first meeting between the teams in Friday’s regional opener.
