The Washington State Department of Transportation has rescheduled a series of ramp closures on local highways this week, pushing planned work back by a day due to weather.

Crews will now tackle striping work for four nights beginning today, according to WSDOT.

The closures will begin at the southernmost ramp on Interstate 205 and move north from there:

• Today: Eastbound state Highway 14 onramps to northbound and southbound Interstate 205, northbound I-205 offramps to eastbound and westbound Highway 14.

• Wednesday: Southbound I-205 offramp to eastbound Highway 14, westbound Highway 14 onramp to southbound I-205.

• Thursday: Westbound Highway 14 onramp to northbound I-205, southbound I-205 offramp to westbound Highway 14.

• Friday: Eastbound state Highway 500 onramp to northbound I-205, southbound I-205 offramp to eastbound Highway 500.

All closures will begin at 9 p.m., continuing until 5 a.m. the following morning.

The work is part of a $2.7 million statewide safety project to put brighter, more durable stripes on Washington highways.
