Vancouver police tonight arrested a Vancouver man who police suspected of prowling in the Central Park area.

About 8 p.m., a caller to 911 reported a suspicious person in the area of Mill Plain Boulevard and East Reserve Street.

Police attempted to contact the man and he ran, Officer Ilia Botvinnik said.

Botvinnik said at least seven officers responded, including Officer Brian Viles and the K-9 Enzo. The dog found the man hiding nearby and an arrest was made.

Botvinnik said Michael Serdoz, 38, was arrested for obstructing a public servant and multiple warrants.

He was taken to the Clark County Jail.
