Letter: Street redesign is good planning

The Columbian
Published: June 27, 2013, 5:00pm

A big thanks to the city of Vancouver for developing the new traffic plan for MacArthur Boulevard, reported in a June 23 story, “MacArthur bike lanes advised.” The reduced traffic lanes and the protected bike lanes will make the route safer for all — schoolkids, neighbors, bicycle commuters, pedestrians and motorists.

It is a big step toward implementing the city’s goals of creating a healthier, walkable community with accessibility for all.
