HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Clearly Now rallied at the top of the stretch for a 134-length victory over long shot Singanothersong to win the $150,000 Swale Stakes at Gulstream Park on Saturday.

Clearly Now was making his first start since finishing third in the $400,000 Holy Bull Stakes. The Kentucky-bred horse won his first two starts at Woodbine in Canada last year for trainer Brian Lynch.

Singanothersong raced for the lead from the start in the Swale with another long shot, Tulira Castle, until Clearly Now caught them nearing the eighth pole.

Wes Welker’s Undrafted finished third. Even-money favorite Forty Tales checked in fifth.

Clearly Now paid $16, $8.20 and $5.20 for win and was timed the seven furlongs in 1:23:19 over the fast track. Singanothersong paid $36.40 and $18.00, and Undrafted paid $4.00.
