Vancouver workshop planned for new and small-business owners

The Vancouver office of the Washington State Department of Revenue will offer a free workshop for new and small-business owners from 9 a.m. to noon March 20, at 8008 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Suite 340, in Vancouver.

Participants will learn about Washington excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, tax incentives, sales tax collection and record-keeping requirements. Participants also will receive a workbook and reference guide to Department of Revenue rules and regulations. To register, visit the DOR website or call 360-256-2060. Space is limited.
