Dean Rojas leads Bassmaster event in Texas

ORANGE, Texas (AP) — Dean Rojas took the lead in the Bassmaster Elite Series’ Sabine River Challenge on Saturday with a five-fish catch of 11 pounds, 14 ounces.

Rojas, from Lake Havasu City, Ariz., had a three-day total of 38-6 for a 3-9 advantage over second-round leader Todd Faircloth of Jasper, Texas. Faircloth brought in only four bass that weighed 7-14.
