NEW YORK (AP) — New England Revolution midfielder Juan Toja was fined an undisclosed amount Thursday for embellishment intended to deceive the referee in a game against the Philadelphia Union.

MLS also fined Chivas USA assistant coach Walter Fleita $500 for irresponsible behavior in the technical area during a game against the Los Angeles Galaxy. Fleita’s dismissal from the sideline carries an automatic one-game suspension and $500 fine. He will serve the suspension during Chivas USA’s game against the Chicago Fire on Sunday and his total fine is $1,000.
