Letter: Time to tell Madore, ‘No!’

The Columbian
Published: May 6, 2013, 5:00pm

Hasn’t anyone ever told David Madore, “No! You can’t run the county like a private business”? If the only ones who hold power over the county commissioners are the public, then now is the time to step up and do something. I was born and raised here and I don’t want to be ashamed I’m from Clark County. That feeling is getting pretty close.

We will continue to have a loss of good county employees and be the laughingstock of the whole state if these two county commissioners are allowed to rule the roost.

Oh, and since Don Benton is so environmentally friendly, I’m sure he’ll remove one of his old campaign signs from the ditch at Northeast 159th Street and Northeast 50th Avenue.
