Letter: Benton’s qualifications are suspect

The Columbian
Published: May 12, 2013, 5:00pm

I would like to see Don Benton’s application form to find out what his qualifications are for the job that pays a huge hunk of money as Clark County’s director of environmental services.

I always felt that Clark County was a place where democracy was in full force, but I have been surprised at the dictatorial stance of the Park Service on Pearson Air Museum and Clark County Commissioners David Madore and Tom Mielke.

Why not hire me for Benton’s new job? I garden and pull weeds.
