Homeless man found dead in downtown Vancouver identified

The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the homeless man found dead in downtown Vancouver as Charles Merrit Allen, 39.

Allen’s body was found on May 13 when a passer-by pulled back a sleeping bag and found him dead.

The cause of death has not yet been determined, but Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said there were no signs of foul play.
