NEW YORK (AP) — Praetereo rallied to beat Power World by 534 lengths Friday in the $76,000 allowance feature at Aqueduct.

A gray 5-year-old trained by David Jacobson and ridden by David Cohen, Praetereo took advantage of an easier spot after three straight stakes races. Sixth in the early stages, he rolled through the stretch for his fifth win in 28 starts, paying $9.50, $4.20 and $2.60 as the 7-2 second choice.

Power World returned $7.80 and $3.90 while Majestic Hussar, the 7-5 favorite, paid $2.70 to show.

The time was 1:22.23 for seven furlongs on the fast track.
