A Vancouver man was arrested after allegedly ramming his vehicle into a car driven by his former girlfriend Monday morning, according to Vancouver police.

Marvin Jennings, Jr., 25, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of first-degree assault, said Sgt. Scott Creager. As the woman left a friend’s house, Jennings reportedly crashed his Pontiac Grand Am into the rear-end of her Chevy Monte Carlo near the intersection of Southeast McGillivray Boulevard and Southeast Talton Avenue about 8:30 a.m.

Jennings then rammed into her again a few blocks away near Southeast 131st Avenue and Southeast Laver Street, Creager said.

She hit her head during one of the collisions, Creager said, but she took herself to a hospital.

Jennings’ vehicle was damaged at the spot of the second intentional collision, Creager said, where police took him into custody without incident.
