Nominees for high school fall sports athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Nov. 16. Voting will conclude at 8 p.m. Thursday with results published in Friday’s Columbian.

MONICA BOTTELBERGHE, COLUMBIA RIVER SWIMMING: Bottelberghe capped her high school career by defending her 200-yard freestyle state title, winning in 1:50.86. She also placed third in the 100 free in 50.17 seconds.

MO SPIETH, UNION SOCCER: Spieth recorded two saves and a shutout in the Titans’ 2-0 win at Moses Lake. Spieth added five more saves in keeping the Titans close in a 1-0 loss to Mead.

EVI WILSON, COLUMBIA RIVER VOLLEYBALL: Wilson was selected to the Class 3A all-tournament team in helping lead the Chieftains to a fourth-place finish at the state tournament.
