Fircrest — Well-wishers gathered Nov. 17 at LeRoy Haagen Memorial Park to support a Vancouver single mother of four who is facing steep medical bills following a recent cancer diagnosis. Calling themselves “Janine’s Dream Team,” the gathering of friends and family raised nearly $3,400 for Janine Dietrich, said Julia Martin, who helped organize the effort. A donation account in Dietrich’s name is open at Columbia Credit Union.
